In early summer, ALDI celebrated the grand opening of two new stores – ALDI Hongkou Bund Raffles Store and ALDI Huangpu LuOne Store – the 42nd and 43rd ALDI stores in Shanghai respectively, which both opened on May 20th. Both stores are located in commercial areas owned by CapitaLand Group that contain high traffic volume, as well as many office buildings and residential areas in the vicinity, providing not just a good place for leisurely shopping for nearby community residents, but also meeting the daily needs of fast-paced, urban white-collar workers. The opening of the two stores also coincided with ALDI CHINA's 4th Anniversary. In addition to opening specials, there were a series of anniversary activities, which attracted large numbers of consumers who came to shop amidst the cheerful bustling atmosphere.
