ALDI LAUNCHES THREE MORE PILOT STORES IN SHANGHAI

You now have more options to shop at ALDI CHINA with the recent opening of three more pilot stores in Shanghai. Located in Putuo, Baoshan and Xuhui districts, the three stores welcomed consumers and celebrated their debuts with interactive games and special promotions.

ALDI stores are designed as a neighbourhood grocery store to support people’s dynamic lifestyles. If you need a convenient breakfast on your way to work or are looking for a midday snack, we have an in-house bakery serving freshly baked pastries such as super butter croissant, Portuguese egg tart and German pretzel. Make it a complete morning meal or light lunch by pairing it with brewed-to-order coffee and tea including classics such as americano, latte and flat white, as well as iced coconut latte and Sri Lankan peach apricot tea.

New to China is ALDI’s popular Special Buys range. Special Buys is a global ALDI tradition that features a changing cast of high quality lifestyle goods other than its everyday grocery products. They are trendy, seasonal and of extremely good value, such as suitcases for the travel season or cookware during festivities. New Special Buy products are released periodically but available only for a short time with limited stock.

Our stores let us listen to our customers better and adjust our stock more efficiently. In addition, you can find your favourite ALDI products including fresh beef and milk imported directly from Australia, wines from around the world, German beer and ice cream produced both locally and in Australia.

Our pilot stores are customised and tailored specifically to meet your needs. The stores feature an integrated online to offline retail experience through the Scan & Go function on ALDI CHINA’s WeChat mini-program and instant delivery services within three kilometres of the stores. Customers who visit our stores can have their purchases delivered to within five kilometres of the stores, while those in the Yangtze River Delta can purchase our products through the mini-program. In addition, ALDI CHINA has partnered up with online platform Ele.me to offer delivery services to a wider range of customers in Shanghai.
